How does it work?  The client contacts me via email ( or in person at the markets and we discuss the item that is required…..  I source the components that I think will fit…  I put together a design board using pictures of the beads and findings that I’ve discovered and a ‘no obligation’ quote….   I request a deposit…..   The jewellery/item is then made…..   Photo’s are taken of the finished piece and then emailed to the client for their approval……    Any alterations are made…..    More photo’s are taken for approval…..  Final payment is requested……   Item is delivered…..   Order Complete.

    Hi Ellie,

I recently purchased a shawl pattern of yours from Love Knitting, the Miriam Shawl. I feel that part of the pattern must be missing for some reason. It tells me to follow rows 6 and 7 until I have 200 stitches but it doesn’t tell me what to do then. I assume I might cast them off because then the pattern goes on to talk about the edging but it doesn’t tell you how to cast on the stitches, or how many for the edging, only what to do on Row 1.

    Many thanks,
