This morning Mr J and I picked these beauties from the garden and I decided to have a go at some chilli sauce for himself as he is obsessed with all things chilli flavoured!!
12 ripe tomatoes
3 dang hot chillies
Half a clove of garlic
A splurge of olive oil and vinegar
Cook all the ingredients up in a pan
Then blitz until smooth and bottle as you would jam in hot sterilised bottles
Ta da three bottles of chilli sauce made completely from homegrown stock!!!!
So at a rough saving of £2 a bottle for the next few weeks of shops!! Yay!!!
