Signs of Life and Spring in the Garden and Greenhouse

March 26, 2010

I went out early this morning and found that the garden, since a few days of glorious sunshine followed by some good old spring rain has started to spring to life Hooray!!!

So I have life in the clematis, the hydrangea and buds on the rhododendron.  There are leaves on the climbing roses, flowers on the Rosemary, and a few daffodils growing.  In the green tent there are carrots, hollyhocks and I think the chillis growing nicely!! Hooray!!

Its getting better every day the seedlings are doing so well in the green tent and the roses and clematis are finally getting greener everyday! Hurrah now to stop having so much rain and the garden can stop being a bog (clay soil so it keeps all the water grrr….)

Those rosemary flowers should go on a cake. Like these http://deliciousdeliciousdelicious.blogspot.com/2009/10/conference-pear-cupcakes-with-caramel.html

We have one daff. One! And he’ll probably pass away in the coming snow. Rubbish. You have green fingers!

The cakes look lush garnished with the flowers and green fingers I’m not sure but the plants in my garden have a 50 50 chance so….
